I was a member of the Yugoslavian national mountain ski team in the ‘70s, then I started alpinism in the ‘80s. In 1995 I made my first ski descent from Annapurna in Nepal and repeated the extreme skiing experience later, on other great mountains. At 38 I became the first person to ski down from the summit of the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest, then I was the first person to make a complete ski descent from the Seven Summits: Everest (8848  m) Asia in October 2000, Kilimanjaro (5895 m) Africa in November 2001, Mount Elbrus (5642 m) Europe in May 2002, Aconcagua (6960 m) South America in January 2003, Mount Kosciuszko (2228 m) Australia in August 2003, Denali (6194 m) North America in June 2004, Vinson Massif (4897 m) Antarctica on November 11, 2006.
